Square pillow bead-rainbow twist

This lampwork glass square pillow bead was handmade in the flame. Pale baby blue  transparent glass has been adorned with a simple rainbow line which has been twisted to resemble a wave. Design appears on both sides.  Beads measure appro 14mm square and were wound on 2.4mm mandrels.

After annealing the bead has been gently tumbled to reveal a soft, matte finish reminiscent of sea glass. Each bead is made individually, so there will be slight variation making every one unique. 

All of my beads go straight from flame to kiln for annealing to ensure strength and durability, before being cleaned and inspected prior to sale.
